This is a great example of two sets of football fans working together for the greater good. These lot should be very proud of themselves, raising money for supporting veterans and the families of veterans. Stuart Glover , Tony Brankin and everyone else that walked the 23 miles between Highbury and Fleetwood and the Mazuma Mobile Stadium at Morecambe FC should be very proud of themselves. It has just had a feature on the English football league highlights TV show and highlighted the partnership between the two community clubs.As a trustee, I was honoured to walk with them on their lap of honour around the stadium and very pleased to be able to tell them that the Karen Whitfield Foundation had pledged to donate £500 towards this superb effort. 🦩💗Mark ... Hi everyone! We have had a few challenges this last few months which means we haven't been as active as we would have liked to have been. We really appreciate the support we had in 2024. The Gala Dinner (amazing fun!) and the Scooter raffle were highlights, and we were really grateful to Blaise and Elle Craddock for a fantastic fundraiser with the amazing 10km run they completed. ❤️Onto 2025 and we have three events so far that we are organising and we would really love it if you could support us. 🙂We have a Race Night on Friday the 16th of May at Morecambe Football Club. Free entry and a night of fun guaranteed! 🏇🏇We have moved our Annual Gala Dinner to August and we are really looking forward to hosting the Summer Ball once agaiMorecambe FCbe FC in the Local Choice Suite Mark Caudleaudle once again providing the fantastic entertainment throughout the evening. We are once again keeping the ticket price to £50.
