About Us

Welcome to The Karen Whitfield Foundation. Established in memory and celebration of Karen Whitfield, who lost her life to COVID-19 in 2021

Our foundation is dedicated to carrying on Karen’s legacy of kindness and service. Karen was an unwavering supporter of people in need, offering specialised care for people with dementia and dedicating her free time to supporting others. Her spirit of compassion drives our mission and guides our efforts

Our Mission

Our mission is to honour Karen’s lifelong commitment to helping those in need. We raise funds and provide support to causes related to veterans, dementia, cancer care, and research. By focusing on these areas, we strive to make a meaningful impact in the Morecambe Bay and Lancashire communities, creating a today as well as a brighter future for individuals and families.

Our Work

We are committed to raising funds for organizations that align with Karen’s dedication to service. Whether it’s supporting veterans in need, improving dementia care, advancing cancer research, or enhancing cancer care, our foundation ensures that the resources we raise reach those who need them most and every penny raised goes to worthwhile causes that make an impact. Through targeted initiatives, partnerships, and advocacy, we work to create lasting change in peoples lives

Our Commitment to the Community

Based in Morecambe, The Karen Whitfield Foundation actively seeks opportunities to support worthwhile causes in the Morecambe Bay and Lancashire areas. We take pride in being a local charity. Our goal is to enhance the lives of those around us by supporting the networks of support and care that make such a difference to those who depend on them.
