The Queens Lancashire Regiment Donation

Karen’s husband and KWF trustee Kingsley Whitfield served with the 1st Battalion of the Queens Lancashire Regiment for 24 years

Retiring in 2014 to spend time with his Wife and Family, Kingsley left the Army as a well-respected member and earned the role of Sergent Major

Each year, the former veterans of the Regiment hold a reunion near Blackburn. One of the largest of its kind.

The Committee and its volunteers fundraise throughout the year and donate proceeds to different charities as well as the upkeep of the memorial at the Staffordshire Auditorium.

This year, we are delighted to say that one of the charities chosen, was the Karen Whitfield Foundation………

The Queens Lancashire Regiment donated a massive £2000!!!!

As always, every penny of that money will go to worthwhile causes and here at The KWF, we work tirelessly to ensure it makes a difference to those who need and deserve it
